ABOUT FN ARCHIVE

FN Archive is a living digital archive documenting every art form and artistic practice in the UAE from the formation of the Union in 1971 to the present day.
The archive welcomes visual art, photography, sculpture, installation, performance, theatre, dance, music, sound, film, literature, poetry, design, architecture, digital practice, craft, heritage, research, curatorial work, and multidisciplinary forms.
Records connect works and projects to the people, places, performances, screenings, publications, exhibitions, broadcasts, buildings, and sources that give them context.
Living artists may register and manage their own profiles. Relatives, estates, representatives, galleries, foundations, institutions, and the FN Archive team may propose records for other artists.
Every submission is reviewed for identity, representation, rights, attribution, and source quality. A verified mark means the record’s manager and core information have been checked.
HOW IT WORKS

Add the profile, works, projects, sources, and rights information in the format appropriate to the practice.
FN Archive checks the record and may request changes.
Approved records become discoverable in the public archive.
Register and manage an artist profile or submit a work or project in any artistic field.
